This was about 3 years ago now, I know, but hey, you're welcome for pointing RiyazStudio out to you. I forgot I did! You still using it?

Hi Lorraine,
the light classical add on is VERY good - definitely recommended.

Vocal warm up -
Hurting your voice: What scale do you normally sing in ? I remember being told by my teachers to sing in the lower octave more often , and somehow that automatically increases your high range as well.
Or you could lower the scale you're using.

Vocal exercises/warmups : My teacher said that the exercises he's taught me for Esraj are the same exercises vocalists use.

Hey folks,

I saw some of the post for Riazstudio, and I thought I would tell you about Swarshala. It's a Indian music software/recording/learning system that is very comprehensive. I downloaded the demo and I gave me Tabla, Harmonium and Tampura. Fantastic sounds, fully able to be changed however one likes.

I left the website for you to check it out.

All the best,

Lew
